Manage Docker containers

# Managing Docker Containers

MrDoc deployed directly via Docker image or Docker Compose needs to be managed through containers.

## View container name or ID

```
docker ps -a
```

This lists all Docker containers on the device. Find and remember the name or ID of the MrDoc container.

## Enter the container

```
docker exec -it {MrDoc container or ID} /bin/sh
```

With the above command, you can enter the MrDoc container.

After entering the container, you can directly execute operations starting with `python manage.py`, such as "create administrator" and "change user password". If you do not want to enter the container to perform operations, you can do so from the host terminal as described below.

## Create administrator

```
docker exec -it {MrDoc container or ID} python manage.py createsuperuser
```
Follow the prompts to enter the information.

## Change user password

```
docker exec -it {MrDoc container or ID} python manage.py changepassword username
```

## Stop container

```
docker stop {MrDoc container or ID}
```

## Start container

```
docker start {MrDoc container or ID}
```

## Delete container

```
docker rm -f {MrDoc container or ID}
```

## View logs

```
docker logs {MrDoc container or ID}
```
