# Pro Edition Data Export and Import

You can conveniently import or export data from the MrDoc Pro edition project database.

Before executing the following data import or export commands, please ensure:

- If a virtual environment is used, activate the virtual environment first
- The commands must be executed in the MrDoc project root directory (the directory where the manage.py file is located)

>d If deployed with Docker, enter the Docker container to perform the operations, or use the Docker command `docker exec -it {container name or container ID}` to execute the export and import.
>
>For example: `docker exec -it mrdoc python manage.py dumpdata app_admin > db_admin.json`

## Data Export

The command is:

```
python manage.py dumpdata app_admin > db_admin.json &&
python manage.py dumpdata app_doc > db_doc.json &&
python manage.py dumpdata app_oauth > db_oauth.json &&
python manage.py dumpdata app_api > db_api.json &&
python manage.py dumpdata app_ai > db_ai.json
```

Depending on the amount of data, wait for the command to complete. The exported data files will be saved in the same directory as `manage.py`.

## Data Import

>d Before importing data, ensure that MrDoc has been fully deployed.

First, place the data files in the MrDoc project root directory (the directory where the manage.py file is located).

The command is:

```
python manage.py loaddata db_admin.json &&
python manage.py loaddata db_doc.json &&
python manage.py loaddata db_oauth.json &&
python manage.py loaddata db_api.json &&
python manage.py loaddata db_ai.json
```

Depending on the amount of data, wait for the command to complete.
