Configure PDF generation for collections

# Configuration for Generating PDF Files from Projects

Generating PDF from a project requires additionally installing Chrome/Chromium software on the computer (use Chrome on Windows, use Chromium on Linux). The usage is described below.

## Installing Chromium on Linux

### Installing Chromium on CentOS

```
sudo yum install chromium
```

### Installing Chromium on Debian

Run the command:

```
sudo apt-get install chromium
```

## Installing Chrome on Windows

Since installing Chromium on Windows is very inconvenient, using the commonly used Chrome browser can achieve the same effect. So if you use MrDoc on Windows, simply install the Chrome browser normally.

## Configuration Parameters

### Configuring the chromedriver path

You need to manually download the chromedriver file to the computer and specify it in the configuration file `/MrDoc/config/config.ini`.

```
[selenium]
driver_path = Fill in the absolute path of chromedriver here
```

The domestic download mirror address is:

https://npm.taobao.org/mirrors/chromedriver/

After specifying, restart the MrDoc service, and MrDoc will use the chromedriver file path in the configuration file to call Chromium to generate PDF.

### Configuring the use of Chrome

If you are using Chrome on Windows, you also need to configure the following in the configuration file:

```
[selenium]
driver = Chrome
```

## Handling Chinese Font Squares

If the project generates a PDF successfully, but all the Chinese characters in the PDF file are squares, then it can be determined that the computer where MrDoc is deployed lacks Chinese fonts. Install Chinese fonts on the computer, for example:

CentOS:

```
yum -y groupinstall Fonts
```
