# WeCom Intelligent Robot

# Integrating with the WeCom Intelligent Robot

MrDoc supports integrating AI Q&A capabilities into the WeCom Intelligent Robot. After configuration is complete, WeCom members can directly ask the robot or @ the robot in group chats for knowledge base Q&A, obtaining AI answers based on the knowledge base without opening MrDoc.

## 1. Configuration Process

The entire integration process is as follows:

1. Create an AI Q&A robot in MrDoc;
2. Obtain the robot callback URL;
3. Create an intelligent robot in WeCom and fill in the callback URL;
4. Obtain the key information of the WeCom robot;
5. Fill the key information back into MrDoc;
6. Enable the robot and start using it.

The process is illustrated as follows:

## 2. Create a Robot in MrDoc

Go to:

> **Admin Panel → AI Integration → AI Q&A Robot**

Click **Add Robot**.

Fill in the basic robot information, for example:

* Robot name
* Corresponding AI service
* Accessible knowledge bases
* Other related configurations

After saving, the robot is created.

After successful creation, view and copy the robot's **callback URL (Webhook)**.

> This URL needs to be filled into the WeCom backend later, so please copy and save it first.

## 3. Create an Intelligent Robot in WeCom

Search for the app "Intelligent Robot" in WeCom.

Go to the app's **Intelligent Robot** page and create a new robot.

Select "Manual Creation":

At the bottom of the robot creation page, click "Create in API Mode".

For the connection method, select "Use URL Callback", then enter the robot callback URL created in MrDoc in the URL input box.

Save the configuration after completion.

Click the "Randomly Generate" button to generate the Token and Encoding-AESKey information, and copy these two pieces of information.

> The fields displayed in the WeCom backend may differ slightly between versions; please refer to the actual page.

## 4. Fill into MrDoc

Return to MrDoc.

Go to:

> **AI Integration → AI Q&A Robot**

Edit the robot you just created.

Fill the key information generated by WeCom into the corresponding fields:

* Token
* EncodingAESKey

Save after confirming correctness.

Finally, return to the WeCom robot creation page and click Save.

## 5. Start Using

Add the robot to the WeCom group where it is needed.

Group members can directly **@ the robot** to ask questions, for example:

> @MrDoc How do I reset a user password?

After receiving the message, the robot will automatically:

1. Receive the WeCom message;
2. Call MrDoc AI Q&A;
3. Retrieve content from authorized knowledge bases;
4. Generate an AI answer;
5. Send the answer back to the WeCom group.

The entire process requires no manual involvement, enabling intelligent Q&A for the enterprise's internal knowledge base.

## 6. Notes

* Before integrating the AI robot, please ensure that MrDoc's AI knowledge base feature is enabled and configured.
* Please ensure that the MrDoc service can be accessed by WeCom. Public network deployment or intranet penetration are both acceptable, and WeCom must have its trusted domain configured.
* After modifying the robot key, the corresponding configuration in MrDoc must be updated synchronously.
* The knowledge content the robot can access is determined by the permissions of its associated knowledge bases; it will only retrieve authorized knowledge bases.

After configuration is complete, you can directly use the MrDoc AI Q&A robot in WeCom to achieve intelligent retrieval and Q&A for the enterprise knowledge base.
